1. Scope and purpose
This Privacy Policy applies to the current Stuđiô Chrome extension. Stuđiô is a time-management and focus assistant designed to help users understand and improve how they spend time in the browser, manage tasks and deadlines, run focus tools, and optionally use AI-assisted organization and planning.
This policy does not automatically apply to future Stuđiô mobile apps, account systems, community features, or cloud services. If those services are released and handle additional data, this policy will be updated before those features are made available.

3. Data the current build does not intentionally collect
Stuđiô's current browser tracker is not designed to read or collect:
- passwords, PINs, payment card numbers, or banking information;
- emails, private chat messages, or other personal communications;
- keystrokes, mouse coordinates, or form-field contents;
- GPS location or precise physical location;
- health records or medical information; or
- the body text, images, audio, or video content of webpages.

4. How Stuđiô uses data
Stuđiô uses handled data only to provide or improve its disclosed time-management and focus functionality, including:
- measuring time spent on active browser tabs;
- distinguishing active use from idle computer time;
- showing local productivity history and reports;
- organizing tasks, deadlines, categories and focus sessions;
- running reminders and scheduled focus tools; and
- providing optional AI-assisted classification, organization or planning when the user requests it.
Stuđiô does not use browsing activity for advertising, ad targeting, creditworthiness, lending decisions, or unrelated profiling.

5. Optional Gemini AI features
Gemini features are optional. The user connects Gemini with a credential obtained from Google AI Studio and can choose whether to invoke AI-assisted features.
When an AI feature is used, the minimum information needed for that request may be transmitted over HTTPS to Google's Gemini API. That request is processed by Google under the terms and privacy practices applicable to the user's Gemini API service.
Stuđiô does not load or execute JavaScript or WebAssembly from Gemini. Gemini responses are treated as data, not remote executable code.

6. Storage and retention
For the current extension build, productivity records and settings are stored using Chrome extension storage on the user's device. They remain available until they are cleared through the extension/browser or the extension is removed, subject to Chrome's own storage behavior.
A Gemini credential is kept only for the browser session unless the user explicitly enables a “remember on this device” option. A remembered credential remains in extension-local storage until the user clears it or removes the extension.
Stuđiô does not claim that Chrome's local extension storage provides application-level end-to-end encryption. Security also depends on the browser, operating system and device account.

8. User control
Users control whether optional AI features are connected and used. Browser tracking can be disabled through Stuđiô when the tracking control is available in the installed version.
Users may remove local extension data through any clear/reset controls provided by the installed version or by removing the extension from Chrome. A remembered Gemini credential should also be cleared before sharing a browser profile or device with another person.

9. Chrome permissions
The current extension may request Chrome permissions such as alarms, sidePanel, storage, tabs, idle, and a narrowly scoped host permission required for optional Gemini connectivity.
- alarms: timers, reminders and scheduled extension operations;
- sidePanel: display Stuđiô's main interface beside webpages;
- storage: save local settings, tasks and productivity records;
- tabs: access active-tab URL/title information needed for time tracking;
- idle: avoid counting inactive computer time; and
- host permission: communicate with the disclosed external API needed for an optional feature.
Stuđiô aims to request only permissions needed for features present in the installed version.

10. Security
External requests containing user data are intended to use secure HTTPS connections. Stuđiô minimizes the amount of data sent externally and keeps the current productivity history local where possible.
No method of storage or transmission is completely risk-free. Users should protect their browser profile and device account and should not share Gemini credentials.

11. Chrome Web Store Limited Use disclosure
Stuđiô's use of information received from Chrome APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
In particular, Stuđiô limits the collection, use and transfer of user data to what is necessary for its disclosed single purpose and user-facing features; does not use or transfer user data for personalized advertising; and does not permit humans to read user data except where allowed by the Chrome Web Store policy and applicable law.

12. Changes to this policy
If Stuđiô introduces features that materially change the data it handles — for example, cloud synchronization, accounts, webpage-content analysis, or additional third-party services — this policy and the Chrome Web Store privacy disclosures will be updated before or alongside the relevant release.
